Your Kontera Account – ContentLink Approved !
Posted in Blog Tips, Make Money Online | By AhTim @ November 16th, 2007
My Kontera account has been Approved!
Yesterday I’ve received an email with the title “You Kontera Account”. I almost forgot about what is this about, is this another spam email? When I open out and read through the email, it recall me that I’ve actually signed up about 1 month ago. I was so surprise that Kontera still remember me and review my site again (My AhTim.com was not qualify at that time). Now my blog is eligible to monitized with Kontera’s ContentLink programme. I’m not sure whether this programme will affect my PR and Alexa ranking, as Google don’t like link ads. But I decide to test run here and see the effect!

How to install Kontera ContentLink ?
It’s quite easy to install Kontera ads code:
1. Login to http://dc.kontera.com
2. Click on ContentLink Toolbox
3. Copy the ads code, paste into your wordpress theme footer.php before </body> tag

Wah ! Glad to see that they approve your site. That means you can start earning now. Actually what is the requirement to apply this? Do we need minimum visitors per day?

Lol I’ve had it for nearly 2 months and I’ve made approximately $3. The CTR is fairly low (around 1%) and you make about $0.50 to $1 for every 1000 visitors.

@Dicky: Yes, you can check back their requirement on their publisher qualification page.
@Adam: Have you find any way to improve it? Some publishers make thousands from Kontera.

The people that make a lot of money from Kontera get thousands of page views per day
Obviously if you’re posts contain keywords that pay well you could get a higher pay.
