Why iPod OS 3.0 Bluetooth Bad?
One of the new feature in iPod OS 3.0 is bluetooth. But if you upgrade your firmware to 3.0 just to have bluetooth, listen to me don’t upgrade. Frankly, the unlock bluetooth is working with limited function.
The bluetooth only works with mono and stereo audio output. You still wouldn’t be able to use your Bluetooth mic for audio input because the Apple firmware wouldn’t have the profiles to support it.
No Bluetooth Mic
According to Skype forum, the users are stuck with using a wired headset with an in-line mic to make Skype call.
If Apple never releases these profiles, then it would have to be up to the crack teams to unlock the 3.0 firmware and provide Bluetooth programming to allow users to enable audio input. It may just happen in the coming months… The question is, will Apple give in to the demand of the customer, or keep us locked in their conformist box?
I thought can Skype call with bluetooth Mini Clip II, but…Sorry, no way!
In simple words, it only support bluetooth speakers. So the bluetooth is useless to me, because I use livespeakr to boost iPod music.
Better Don’t Shake
Another new feature “Shake to shuffle” is bad too. The feature is cool but it only work when you’re opening Music app without lock. If you browsing Safari while listening to music, or lock screen, the shake just don’t work.
Basically it is useless too, what a waste. Imagine who will unlock, open Music app and Shake it? Better don’t shake.
Other than these 2 drawbacks, I’m satisfied with iPod OS 3.0 upgrade. How about you? Do you think all new features are useful to you?

Lol the person who wrote this article is not so smart.
A headset on a Bluetooth is usless… It’s like putting a mic on a nano
Music shuffle works when you have the app open. Double click on your home button and music opens up and shake and you will still be in safari or whatever…
