I have posted 7 formulas to write an attractive title, have you try to use anyone of the formula? How effective is the formula? Sometime a good title stimulate our appetite to read through whole article without stop. Or sometime we even do or buy what they offer. That is the effect of words emotion.

Dr. Hakim Chishti did research and found a sound tones of a language always interpreted the same way by the emotions. Those emotional words has been inserted into EMV (Emotional Marketing Value) Impact list.

How to Measure Title Emotional Score?

It’s free to use Advanced Marketing Institute’s Headline Analyzer to analyze your title’s emotional score. The Headline Analyzer uses special alogorithms to quickly compare the words of your headline with the words from the EMV Impact list. Just key in your title or headline sentence and submit for analysis. I have did a simple test on this post title:

I have submit the title “what is your title score” for analysis, but return with 0% score. This mean the title does not have any emotional impact on readers. Luckily I am not an affiliate marketer.

I try to tweak the title to “score your title free” and send for analysis. It returns with 25% scores. This mean this title has intellectual impact on readers.

My two cents

Although this tool can help us analyze the emotional impact on readers, it can’t guarantee the SEO friendliness and human readability. Hence this analyzer is just for your own reference. In my opinion, this is useful if you are affiliate and promoting some products. Higher emotional impact scores can has higher possibility to ask your readers to take action.
