What is The Best Time to Publish Post?

Everything has its own best time to do. For example, the best time to sleep is at 10pm – 11pm. The best time to exercise is at 6pm evening. If we could apply the best time to do things, we have better health.
As a blogger, I have monitoring the best time to publish post for some time of period. I myself used to publish post in the morning after 10am even put in schedule. I feel that it is the most suitable time for my readers and optimize for my RSS subscribers.
Best Time to Publish Post
After read the study by Jake Luciani, the conclusion he made is: between 1pm and 3pm (after lunch) or between 5pm and 7pm (after work) are the best times and Thursday is the best day to publish post.
This study was analyze based on 10k posts with blog PR > 6.
Refer to the graph below, Peak hours within a day is from 1pm to 3pm and4pm to 10pm.
Peak day is between Tuesday to Friday. Best day is on Thursday.
When we publish post during peak times, Wordpress will update different search engines that our blog has updated. Hence it will drive more traffics in. On the other hand, the worst time to publish post is between 3pm to 5pm on the weekends.
My two cents
The time and day above is refer to PST (Pacific Standard Time). Hence it might be different with your own time zone. Anyway, you may refer this study for your own readers.
For me, most of my readers come from US and Canada. Hence I will try the experiment to publish post between 7am to 9am (GMT+8) Malaysia time. Hope it helps to increase my blog’s traffics!

That’s good. Probably you might want to know which target audience you are targeting in order to track effectively. For my case, GMT +8 lunch time work best for me. Maybe working adults do stay at office surfing for blog during that time.

This is a good idea. But, my traffic is too low to indicate the best time to post.

As Greentac said, I think you need the traffic to be able to know what the best time is.

At the beginning on your article, i was wondering what is the time for me to publh my post, and fortunately, i did see you mentioned about malaysia…lol

if you are focusing on global audience you can’t expect any periodic posts..
