Test Your Website Speed

Sometime we just decorate too much for our blog. This make our blog drive like a truck with 1.3CC horse power only. It is exstremely slow and make us lose our readers. Even I myself also don’t like to wait minutes for a blog to load finish. Sometime I just close it as soon as I read finish for huge loading blog.
So, how do you determine your blog loading speed? Use website speed test to test your blog loading speed and size.
As screenshot below, I have compared my blog speed and size with others probloggers. From the chart, you notice my blog loaded 45.45KB in 0.5 second. I am satisfied with this fast speed and small size. I have the smallest size compared to others. I tried to maintain this small size because I do not have dedicated server and my blog package was counted by transfer byte! Further more, my readers will happy to see my blog load fast.:)
The biggest size is Shoemoney which has 94.03KB. His loading speed is faster than JohnChow although the size is bigger. Maybe Shoemoney’s hosting server has faster speed and better bandwidth. JohnChow blog is 5 times slower than mine, no wonder always need to wait so long when browsing his blog. JohnChow, you might want to upgrade your server and bandwidth huh?
