Win $6000 Contest from John Chow and XR.com

Thursday, December 18th, 2008

No more prize that’s “value” at $6000. It is pure $6000 cash! A huge contest prize from John Chow and XR.com. Of course not all cash go to your pocket. The concept is “Give and you shall receive” if you don’t know.

Cash $5,000 would go to the charity of your choice and $1,000 will go to you to spend however you want. If I win, I would give the $5K to World Vision and I would put the $1,000 to buy my first laptop.

Why choose World Vision? Because the charity fund can benefit more people. It cost $35 to sponsor a child per month. With $5000, we can sponsor 142.85 children for the month. I don’t mind to cash out my own money to round up for 143 children if I win.

Contest Sponsor XR.com

The contest is being sponsored by XR.com. XR.com is a tiny url service that shorten your long URLs to extremely short.

I tried on the contest page and it turn up only 3 characters after XR.com. The best part is its browser bookmarklet make you just one click away to get short URL. What waiting? Sign up for an account and check it out! (more…)
