What is gOS ?

Have you already request an Ubuntu Free CDs for yourself? I have review it on my previous post, and hope you too evaluate it and pass the CDs around. gOs is the new Linux-based platform that is currently becoming well-known because of it is designed specifically to run Google apps like GMail, Google Maps and many more on Ubuntu.

Why use gOS?

gOS is very suitable for normal home and internet users because it is well equiped with integrated daily use web softwares and desktop softwares. The web softwares that integrated inside such as Google Mail, Google Maps, Google Docs, Youtube, Facebook, Wikipedia and etc. Also there are desktop softwares like Open Office 2.3, Rhythmbox, Xine player, Gimp, Firefox, Pidgin, Skype, and etc. Further more, its Enlightenment theme and widget like feature the sidebar make it more user friendly. So basically, all basic and daily use softwares that you need are integrated into gOS and you do not scrath head to find and install extra applications.

I highly recommend gOS to Linux beginner. If you are a native windows user, do not affraid to try out the Linux OS. With gOS, I believe you will familiar with the features within days and love to use it as it is Free! (Yeah, I like Free things :) )
