LCD Monitors Watch at You

OK, it is unsecured to use LCD that watch us. The title word “Watch” is not proper. Should use “sense at you”.

Frankly, it is not new tech. The motion detection sensor is already there for years. Just nobody integrate into LCD monitor.
Eizo Green LCD Monitor
Eizo Nanao feature “EcoView Sense” to detect if a person is sitting in front of it. The sensor build at bottom edge of the LCD.
If it senses for 40 seconds that no one is there, it turn to sleep mode automatically. It then resume normal when user returns, without user intervention. (more…)
