If you do not know what is RSS (Really Simple Syndication), check the full definition of RSS at wikipedia. In simple words, it is a web format that used to publish frequently updated content. The RSS content can be read using software called an “RSS reader” or “feed reader“.

In other words, we can read hundreds or thousands of websites information content by using a single rss reader. Cool is it? Less headache to remember all those frequently visit website urls.

Google Reader is my favourite rss feed reader among all others. It is very easy to use, simple yet fast load interface. The best part is on its grouping and labeling system because I have more than 100 feed subscriptions.

2. Bloglines

Bloglines work almost the same like google reader. It has enhanced with easy sharing features such as email and blogging. Futher more, you can search for useful feed from its feed database.

3. Yahoo Reader

This is one of the common feature in Yahoo Mail. Just login to your yahoo mailbox, the feed reader is just under your “notepad”. Add in feed url and done. No installation or download needed. (more…)

Increase RSS readers with rssHugger

Since I have updated my wordpress theme, I never shown up my rss feed status. I want to experiment whether my rss will increase faster without shown out my rss status. But as a result within these 2 weeks, my rss readers has been increase significantly up to almost 50% of the previous result.

But that is still not a good time for me to reveal my rss subscribers status. I will word hard on my experiment to get more readers first before let all know the result :)

Good news for feedburner publishers! Since Google bought over Feedburner for $100 Millions, we can expect more ways to make money online through feedburner. FeedBurner has rolled out a new option for monetizing your website through your RSS readers. This means you can use FeedBurner to add Google AdSense ads in between posts on any blog or website.

How to monetize your feedburner ?

FeedBurner makes the process pretty easy as long as you have “FeedFlare” on your website. All you have to do is login to your FeedBurner account, click the monetize tab, login to AdSense, and choose the type of ads you want to use. You can choose from 468 x 60 pixels or 300 x 250 pixels.
