Who Send Your Name to the Moon?

According to NASA, this is called Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter (LRO) “Send Your Name to the Moon” Project.

LRO project (Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter) is the first mission in NASA’s Vision for Space Exploration, a plan to return to the moon and then to travel to Mars and beyond. It will launch in late 2008 with the objectives to finding safe landing sites, locate potential resources, characterize the radiation environment, and demonstrate new technology.

With this project launch, NASA is collecting names to be send to the Moon. Names will be collected and placed onboard on the LRO spacecraft.

How to Send Your Name to the Moon?

It is easy. Browse to LRO project site, key in your first name and last name. Click on “Add Name” button, that’s it.

Few photos captured and sent by the Nasa’s Mars explorer vehicle, Earth by Spirit on Mars’ surface, might indicate there are life forms on the Mars. Look at the picture below, is it looks like a female figure is sitting on a rock with her hand up?

The Mars explorer vehicle had landed Mars four years ago and going around the red planet to capture images and send back to Earth. From the wide image, it does not show any special. But after zoom in, some say that it is an Alien! Others believe that is simply an optical illusion caused by a landscape. What do you say?
