NASADo you ever think of plan a trip to moon? You have to pay billions of dollar to make such kind of space trip! ;) Wow, this is ridiculous. But now, we could send our name to the Moon. Free! ;)

Who Send Your Name to the Moon?

According to NASA, this is called Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter (LRO) “Send Your Name to the Moon” Project.

LRO project (Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter) is the first mission in NASA’s Vision for Space Exploration, a plan to return to the moon and then to travel to Mars and beyond. It will launch in late 2008 with the objectives to finding safe landing sites, locate potential resources, characterize the radiation environment, and demonstrate new technology.

With this project launch, NASA is collecting names to be send to the Moon. Names will be collected and placed onboard on the LRO spacecraft.

How to Send Your Name to the Moon?

It is easy. Browse to LRO project site, key in your first name and last name. Click on “Add Name” button, that’s it.
