Chrome OS on Mac OS X

Google finally made Chrome OS live about a month ago. The operating system offer cloud computing, mainly for netbooks. In simple words, it is an Internet operating system.

The OS based on Chrome web browser. Every application in Chrome is a web application, no desktop application. Means no installation, no setup, use as it is type.

Without further wasting time, I want to show you what is Chrome OS. Since it is demo only, I ran it on VirtualBox.

Google Chrome Web Browser

After wait so long, Google has finally released its first open source web browser – Google Chrome. Before today, fake download link for Google Chrome is spreading around Internet. This proof that the world is so exciting. We all can’t wait to download and try the latest web browser by the giant search engine leader.

When I know Google is going to release its web browser, it remind me when Mozilla release its first Firefox edition last few years. I believe Google Chrome will spark the web browser industry, or at least produce another competition. Do you think Google Chrome will beat Mozilla Firefox? No wonder Google have to drop its Adsense Referral (including lots of Mozilla products) last month! (more…)
