What is Yahoo! Mini Pen?

Recently Yahoo has launched a free translation tool named Yahoo! Mini Pen (Yahoo! 奇摩迷你笔 ). Although it’s just a simple word translator, not yet ready for phrase or article translation, it’s still a useful and handy translator.

Why use Yahoo! Mini Pen?

You should use Yahoo! Mini Pen if English is not your native languange. With Yahoo! Mini Pen, you may translate English word to Chinese, German, Korean, Japanese and many more within seconds. Yahoo! MiniPen able to support IE, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and PDF. Further more, it does not take much space, also transparent by itself when inactive.

How to use Yahoo! MiniPen

Just a few steps to use this translator. Download Yahoo! MiniPen toolbar and install it. A tiny pink color pen will show up on screen.

Drag the tiny pen to the keyword, release your mouse click and it will pop up related keyword’s translation result. Not only meaning of the keyword, but also multi languange pronunciation for your reference. This is the advantage feature compare to other translator.

My two cents

I’ve installed Yahoo! MiniPen on my computer. It’s really a useful and handy translation tool. It search and display the translate results within seconds.
