High Tech of Beijing 2008 Olympics

I’ve missed the Beijing 2008 Olympics opening ceremony. Heard everybody said it was a surprising and best Olympics opening ceremony ever. China has made the game started successfully, with lots of high tech system.

Let’s see how they integrate high technologies to success the 2008 Olympics.

Bird Nest Stadium

The so called 4th Generation Stadium “Bird Nest” build with steel in web form. No pillar can found in the stadium. All audiences (can fit max 100k audiences) can watch event clearly without any blockage.

The center point the the stadium is just about 140 meter far away, no matter which corner you seat. Everybody can watch the event fairly.

Water Cube

The National Swimming Centre for 2008 Olympics has been covered with high tech ETFE film. Its like skin protecting the building indoor. As you can see from the photo below, the whole swimming centre was covered. (more…)

Beijing 2008 Olympics Logos

The upcoming Beijing Olympics is approaching. Many people must look forward to the opening ceremony tonight. Before the ceremony start, let’s warm up through the Olympics logos from the first edition in 1896 to 2012!

Although I’m not a fan of Olympics, I did enjoyed the Olympics Logos from the history till today. Don’t you? ;)
