New Gmail Interface with HTML5

Never heard of HTML5? Gmail introducing a new interface running HTML5 tag on latest browser technology at iPhone, iPod Touch and Android phone.
HTML5 is about caching framework. You can archive, delete, starring emails quicker using the floaty bar. It doesn’t require a respond from gmail server. Instead it cache mail inside the device itself, then sent to Gmail server whenever a network connection is available.

See the floaty bar? It follow where you scroll. It is faster performance and improved offline operation compare to previous one.
Try the new Gmail for mobile. Login gmail.com using iPhone, iPod Touch (firmware 2.2.1) or Android phone.
Is it useful? It is good but not useful for me. I use Mail App in iPod Touch to sync with gmail. A lot faster and easier. Also can read offline mail.
No iPhone, iPod Touch nor Android? Check out the Youtube video for better understanding.
