I’m member of MBO cinema. Watch movie in cinema is the easiest entertainment for me. I watch movie quite frequent, but seldom write movie review. This time, I should write a movie review and recommend you to watch “Journey To The Center of The Earth”.

My wife and I have watched the movie last night. To make sure won’t miss it, we have bought the tickets a day earlier. There was only 2 booked seats when we bought from auto ticketing machine. The ticket price so cheap! Only RM6 per seat. So, we thought no high expectation on the movie.

By looking at the movie poster, it look so cartoon. I thought it is another childish movie.

Story of The Journey

I know we were wrong after the movie. We did enjoyed the movie very much. The movie “Journey To The Center of The Earth” is available in 2 version. 2D and 3D version. Unfortunately my home town only have 2D version. The story line itself did attracted me.

The story is about a scientist that believe there is another world in the center of the earth. The journey start when Trevor (Brendan Fraser) read his brother’s notes in a story book. The young actor, Josh Hutcherson followed his uncle (Trevor) to find out the facts of geology theory. The journey guided by the blonde mountain guide, Anita Briem.

There are total of 5 exciting parts designed for best watch with 3D effects: The mines train, Way to the center of the Earth, Cross over the sea, Escape from Dinosaur and Return to the earth. Its a movie that suitable for whole family and worth your time to watch!

I got Australia on the other side of mine. This mean I can reach Australia without a passport if I found the secret way through earth. Haha.. LOL.

My two cents

I like the new concept of the story. It says there is a way near volcano to the center of the Earth. Is that true? Nobody knows. Also, we learned a lots of characteristic of the rocks underground.

It will be best to watch with 3D version. Cinemas in my hometown should upgrade their equipment. The movie took roughly 1.5 hours. It is Fun, Adventure and Exciting too!
