Mobile Blogging from iPod touch
Posted in WordPress | By AhTim @ July 26th, 2008
This is my first mobile blogging from iPod touch. I know I should try out the recent WordPress for iPhone. But as I said, I have to upgrade my iPod to OS 2.0 if I want to do so. Since it might not compatible with my apps, I have to keep it a side first.
I’m thinking to compile the WordPress for iPod myself since the source code has been released. I want to download iPhone SDK but it only available for OS X version. Sorry, no window version.
The WPhone Plugin
To experience mobile blogging(moblog), I’ve installed the WPhone plugin (http://wphoneplugin.org) for WordPress.
It works great for moblog! Can write post, manage comment, tags, categories, plugins, dashboard, etc. Basically, it has all basic features to write post and simple WordPress blog management task.
The only drawback is it does not support insert picture. You have to upload picture or photo seperately. Anyway, it still a cool plugin! ![]()
