What is WCIT ?

WCIT or World Congress on Information Technology often known as “Olympics of ICT”, is an event that held once every two years. WCIT is the largest-ever gathering of global leaders and decision makers on information and communications technology.

Next year, is coming to the 16th World Congress on Information Technology (WCIT) 2008 and claim to be a landmark ICT event that is held for the first time in Southeast Asia.

When and Where?

We are happy to know that the 16th World Congress on Information Technology (WCIT) 2008 will be held at KLCC (Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre) Kuala Lumpur from May 19-21, 2008 (3 days continuous event). The event is expected to draw over 2,500 participants from more than 80 countries worldwide.

If you are at least 18 years old, are energetic, a team player, keen to learn and have a pleasant personality, plus you have Free time, then you might want to expand your eye vision by joining the event as volunteer. The volunteer registration will be carried out from now until December 2007, and they need 300 volunteers in many areas.
