iPod Mimi Switch Control

Do you think the lady is winking or smiling at you? Don’t misunderstand, she is just controlling her iPod using her face.
The Mimi Switch invented by Japanese researcher Kazuhiro Taniguchi. It is a set of earphones containing infrared sensors. This lets the earpiece sense tiny movements inside the ear caused by facial expressions then translate them into commands for music device, like iPod.

In fact, not only iPod it can be programmed to control other electronic devices.
Can you imagine we can play, stop, forward, rewind or even choose playlist by just winking, smiling or sticking out your tongue like this cute model?
My Two Cents
This new buttonless control suitable for car driver like me. It is too dangerous to control iPod touch while driving. Perhaps Mimi Switch could give us freedom of remote control, without looking at it.
Just curious what happen if we “accidentally” winking at people? Will it take count too?
