Today we’ll interview a secret Pro-Blogger. Why secret? I tried to search for his photo online but failed. It was surprise I can even find one photo of such famous Pro-Blogger, Raymond.cc!

I’ve email to the author of Raymond.cc and ask for a photo. He insist to remain anonymous and known as only Raymond. He prefer to be low profile. He didn’t tell the reason behind. I guess he want to avoid from being fire?

We seldom see blog has more than 35,000 RSS subscribers in Malaysia. Raymond.cc is one of them. Let’s learn from his blogging experience.

1. How long have you been blogging here?

Raymond: Been blogging for 2 years 10 months.

Tim: That means you got 1000 RSS subscribers average in one month? You should tell us more how you did that?

2. What is the biggest difference before and after enter to the blogging world?

Raymond: More and more time needed to research and write quality articles.

Tim: Me too. I can see how many effort you put on research to write those quality articles.

3. What method(s) you use to increase Blog’s traffic?

Raymond: Never paid much attention and done much SEO. Just write original and interesting stuff. Like some people said, content is king.

Tim: Good point!

4. What topic your reader like the most?

Raymond: Actually my readers like cracking and hacking stuff, but because I am using AdSense, I had to draw a line.

Tim: I call it “Tips and Tricks” instead of cracking and hacking.

5. When and How many hours you use for blogging in a day?

Raymond: I normally spend at least 5 hours a day on computer. As for writing an article/blogging, it really depends on the story that I am writing. Some easy ones takes about an hour and the tough one can go up to 2-3 days. Since I have my full time job, sometimes I’d just start an article in the morning, continue with my job and only finish the article at night.

Tim: Write good quality article is not easy. Now we know your secret.

6. Any advice for people who want to be pro-blogger?

Raymond: My personal opinion is be original. Try to do something different than others. Of course you can be successful by checking other blogs and rewriting it but end of the day people would know where you got it from.

Tim: So you mean Original Quality Content is King? Got it.

My two cents

In his replied email, Raymond said he don’t consider himself as a Pro-blogger. Reason is he still got full time job. Well, as I said Pro-blogger is the name given by others. Full time job is not the reason can not be Pro-Blogger. A Pro-Blogger not necessary a full time Blogger.
