I have been blogging here for 9 months. Within a year, I have bought an domain name and web hosting, upgraded web hosting plan the first time, upgrade for second time and go for larger web hosting plan. Over the time, I have spent hundreds of bucks in domain name and web hosting!

My two cents

Update: The admin just replied my email that the 100GB data transfer limit is per month. That’s great!

that is the great free web hosting, I just use this free hosting for my new blog, Before i paid for hosting every months. I now just spend on domain mane only. Cheer!!!!!

These are becoming quite common, but you still get nowhere near the control you get for paying for the service. (And I’d like to see if they hold by their word if you consistently use the full 100 GB of bandwidth per month.) I’ve personally been using mjzhosting.net for a few years now, and they’ve been great. I had a weird issue on the server once when the mysqli extension wasn’t working for PHP all of a sudden, and within hours they recompiled PHP with mysqli support and all was well.
It’s neat you’ve had success with ads; I’m still so lazy and thus I haven’t done much with them.

Actually they provide 350MB disk space. Your will know this after you register a account with 000webhost. I don’t know why their ads claim that they provide 250MB space only. maybe they forget to update their ads while they updated their service. BTW, I am using it and I have my own .com site now! (Thank for helping me on registering my domain name) It feels good when using domain name site, got so many advantages compare to blogspot.

@Edwin: Yes, especially can SEO your blog. First level domain will get higher position in search result compare to shared domain.

My friends are also tried this and they say that the bandwidth never runs out. I never tried it yet because I am satisfied with my domain and if ever I will change I might give it a try.
