What do you do with your computer? I use my computer to watch movie, listen music, blogging, surf net and some office applications. I rarely play game, long time do not play game already.
I do not play game for two reason. Short of time and I don’t like to play with machine. But most of the online game that play with human takes longer time.
Today I’ve discovered a free online game that stimulate my interest to play some games.
It’s call Gwap!
Gwap! The Free Online Game
Gwap is not just simply an online game. It allow player to have fun with human on the Internet while training computer to understand better on the images. With comparison of players’ answers, a search engine will have a better idea of what’s in those images.
There are total of 5 game modules. All games are related to pictures or photos, but play in different ways. I like the game Squigl, because it is easy to play and easy to earn more points. With the points, you can enter into next level!
How to Play ?
Browse to Gwap and register a free account. No need verify, just 1 minute. Once login, choose your game to play. The screenshot below shows the steps to play Squigl. You may tick “auto-submit when done” to submit answer automatically after circle the image.

My two cents
I like Gwap games because it only took me 2 minutes plus to complete one round. The games look easy but the coding behind involve a lots of comparison. Now I at “gwappie” rank (2nd level) when I am writing this post.

We’ve recently released a collaborative game similar to the von Ahn work that aims to collect judgements on anaphoric coreference. It’s not as inherently interesting a task as tagging images or music, however the results could be just as useful for text summarisation and search engines.
