DIY iPod Battery Charger

If you hare using iPod touch, I am sure you are having the same problem with me. Its the short battery life, especially on video watching mode or internet surfing mode. It only support up to few hours!
This is quite troublesome when we are outside the house. Where to looking for an iPod battery charger? I found this interesting DIY iPod battery charger from youtube.
The video shows that he charge his iPod by using electrolytes and an onion. He claimed that h can use the iPod for up to 20 minutes after charged! How true is this? Will this method work? Maybe you can try out yourself. If it is working, bring some onion while you enjoy coffee and internet surfing in Starbuck.
