Free Online Games - Gwap

What do you do with your computer? I use my computer to watch movie, listen music, blogging, surf net and some office applications. I rarely play game, long time do not play game already.

I do not play game for two reason. Short of time and I don’t like to play with machine. But most of the online game that play with human takes longer time.

Today I’ve discovered a free online game that stimulate my interest to play some games. :) It’s call Gwap!

Gwap is not just simply an online game. It allow player to have fun with human on the Internet while training computer to understand better on the images. With comparison of players’ answers, a search engine will have a better idea of what’s in those images.

There are total of 5 game modules. All games are related to pictures or photos, but play in different ways. I like the game Squigl, because it is easy to play and easy to earn more points. With the points, you can enter into next level! (more…)

Monitor Your Internet Bandwidth Free

If I not mistaken, my friend asked me is there any software to monitor Internet bandwidth for a single computer?

At that time, I thought only proxy server able to do that. Hence this is not applicable for individual computer or small office. Now, I know I am wrong when I saw the bandwidth monitoring tool - Bit Meter II.

Monitor Your Internet Bandwidth

Bit Meter II is a bandwidth meter that help you monitor Internet connection by plotting real time graph. It shows different colors for upload and download. Red is download, Green is upload and Yellow is total for both.

To see all at a glance, can use its statistics window. The statistics data contain historical data for last few hours, days or weeks.

This is very useful if you are troubleshooting your Internet connection or spyware. Some 3G broadband provider limit the download size to few gigabits per month. This Bit Meter can help to monitor the broadband status well. (more…)

Adobe Systems just announced to release Adobe Media Player (AMP), a free download for playing Flash-based Web videos on Macs or PCs. This means we can watch legal movies online now! :)

I have not get my own laptop yet. While I am thinking of a MacBook, some cheaper mobile PC come into the market. Recently these cheaper so called “poor man” laptop is getting hotter in Europe market. It has the laptop features and mobility with smaller size.
