My Happy Moments

What make me happy recently? After I think few months back in this blogsphere, my happiest moments will be vacation in Shanghai, I won an Apple IPOD Touch 16GB! and I’ve received Free iPod Touch!. These are all my first time. First time travel to oversea with my wife and first time won a grand prize. Further more all these happens one by another!

Of course, happy moments does not come by itself. It also does not end by itself. I still live happily because I know my purpose of life! We should live happily as we were created to.

What is my happy moments this year? I am still looking for the answer. Hopefully happyâ„¢:) make me happier this year. The grand prize offered by happyâ„¢:) definitely will make me smile happily. With the prize, I might plan another memorable trip with my wife.;)

Since I setup my scratchback Top Spot in November 2007, there are only 3 buyers buy bought the links from me. At that time, I sell $5 per link for 1 month. So there is only total of $15 since I installed the scratchback widget. Last month worse no buyer, but anyway I did not take down their links for another 1 month to show my appreciation to them as my first ads buyer.

Anyway, my scratchback top spot was not doing well as what I expected. I remove it out from my blog and informed the buyers.

Why Make Money via Private Advertising?

I would like to try out the private advertising scheme as it is more flexible for advertiser, better spot and of course can earn more. Actually private advertising has been use by many pro bloggers such as Ben Cook. He is doing very well on private ads and manage to sell 4 units of 125×125 ads box. It’s total of $510 a month just from his private ads scheme on December 2007.

As for myself, I received an email to acquire for private ads and this make me think to launch my own private ads scheme.

I have received an email from Gareth Hough to introduce me a new make money online ads media called PPP. PPP stands for Pay Per Play.

What is PPP ?

With PPP, your blogs or websites will be serving a “single” 5 second audio advertisement to your visitors on any or every page as you like. This is good method because it does not take up your blog’s page space. You might want to register PPP now because it has refferal scheme. The earlier you register, the faster you can start to build your network.

How it works ?

V2P Communications, the company has a new media source up to 66,000 advertisers is offering PPP this year 2008. V2P Communications claimed that:

Are you Advertlets victim?

If you are one of the Advertlets publisher, I am sure you are one of the victim during the Advertlets domain name expired incident whereby all traffic to Advertlets.com has been redirect to the domain renewal page.

When I check my blog on last Saturday night ( about 9.15pm), my blog main page loading half way and auto redirect to the domain renewal page as screenshot below. At first, I thought this was cause by spyware on the computer, but when I read carefully on the redirected link, I suspect it was due to the Advertlets code. Without delay, I login my blog and remove the Advertlet code directly form my sidebar widget. It just work fine after that!

Josh Lim, the co-founder of Advertlets admit and apologize for the “domain renewal mistake“. He claimed that:

A complication in the renewal process caused the Advertlets.com domain to expire, and caused issues for bloggers with our ads installed, which made their blogs redirect to a placeholder page. (more…)
