So far since I've launched my 1st Blogging Online Contest, there is not much people react on it. I am not sure whether it was due to the blog post was not set properly to "allow comment" ? This morning when I come back to blog, I noticed that the blogging contest post was set to "Closed on comment". This is really bad! So far since I blogging for 1 month, I never did a silly mistake like this one.
After figure out the problem, I noticed that the option under "Discussion" tab for the post - blogging online contest has been unchecked, that is the reason why even my reader was not able to put their contest entry in the comment. But finally I enable it back to normal.
I've learned something important from this occurrence, that is you must check all the necessary post settings before publish. Or else you need to check those important settings that will affect your post after publish, for example in my case, the comment section is very important for the reader to join contest, so I will need to recheck the setting after publish.
Along the contest, I will update the status every Monday so that you are aware of the status and hopefully the status give you some motivation to join the 1st ever blogging online contest at AhTim dot com.
