Unexpectedly, my blog has make more money this month! The make money trend on Adsense itself has significant increment start from last month.

I’m not too emphasize on make money online stuff here. I also not too press on advertising. Anyway, I’ve seen some fruits after blogging for 10 months since my first post.

Make Money Trend

I start from almost “0″ (zero) in Adsense when I started to blog. In first 3 month does not earn much. After 3 months of continuous blogging, I start to see the good sign.

As you can see, the graph below shows my make money trend for Adsense started at January 2008. I started to get small amount everyday. The trend increase faster (4x) on February and 2x on March compare to their previous month. A bit drop on April (I don’t know what happen) and up back on the next month.

For past 4 months, my Adsense earnings increased gradually and steadily better than first half year. And you know, this month result really surprised me even not closing yet. I’ve break my own make money record! It can be consider as a small milestone for me to achieve a full-time blogger. (more…)

The Australian AdSense team has compiled a 5 steps guide to success your Google Adsense. Well, personally I think this is a MUST see video for all serious Adsense publisher no matter Adsense newbie or experienced publisher.

In the video, the Adsense team mentioned 5 important points to optimise your Google Adsense earnings. I’ve summarized the key points here:

1. Analyse your webpages

Determine your primary content area for ads location. Large ad unit sizes work best. Also, well presented content will attract better advertisers.

2. Set up custom channels

Custom channels is like a labelling system that help you determine which ad units perform the best. Is an important tool to analyse and optimise your Adsense ads earning. (more…)

This is an interesting question for many blogger. I have posted a discussion in forum and many asked me this question. Well, I am not a problogger, I do not know the exact answer. It is a subjective question, but I can share my experience with you.

Traffics VS Money

As you can see in the graph below, I compare the traffics of June with money earned. Of course, I admit that no traffics no money. But if you notice carefully, the traffics on last few days is lower than previous yet earn more money.

This is an interesting thing. Lower traffics with higher earnings? I think in my case here, the “higher earning” is not totally related to traffics. The topics, content and keyword that we use will affect the value of ads. Also, it is related to ads position and optimization. (more…)

Do you noticed different blog theme will affect your Adsense CTR? I have experienced the big difference between 2 blog theme. As you know, I have changed WordPress theme from Soveryn to Cool Water 3 Columns recently.

Let’s me compare the main landing page side by side.
