Since AhTim.com online on 11 Sep 2007, I try my best to blog everyday including improve my theme design, blog tools, SEO as well post more valuable information !

I am happy that after 2 weeks of blogging my own dot com, I feel use to it and never stop blogging. If you are my blog reader, I am sure you notice that my new post turn up everyday around 12pm in the afternoon (GMT +08:00) since 11 Sep 2007. Actually I have started the challenge myself before my post about the 20 Days Challenge from JohnChow.com

Make a post a day a habit !

From the blogging experience for 2 weeks here, I have learn that as a successful blogger, we must make new post as a habit everyday. If it is too difficult for you due to time constrain, you could make a new post every 2 days. After make blog post as your life habit, you could see your blog traffic keep increase dramatically as well as your RSS reader !

My SEO results

Now it's time for me to reveal my SEO results after 2 weeks of non-stop blogging from scratch zero traffic.

1. Alexa Ranking

Although AhTim.com is not very high rank, but at least Alexa is able to detect my ranking now as 1,456,330. Of course this doesn't mean much! But compare to the ranking in my country Malaysia, I got rank 11,005 (as shown in the picture above) which I think is not bad for a blog age 2 weeks old

2. Google Search

When I started my blog 2 weeks ago, you even can't search my blog "AhTim" in google or any other search engine. But now, my blog shown in first page if you search my name "AhTim" in Google search ! Try to search my name "AhTim" in Google search above and see what happens?

3. AWStat statistic

According to AWStat report overview, I have about 450 unique visitors and 18,439 hits within 2 weeks, which I think is a good progress !

As you can see from this AWStat statistic, AhTim.com traffic is increase gradually within 2 weeks. Especially from 19 to 21 Sep 2007, the visitors amount and page hits rate stay steadily at 60-100 visitors and 2000+ hits daily.

If you noticed on 12 Sep 2007, there is a special high visitors traffic came in. Total of 247 unique visitors on that day itself. I asked myself, why so special on that day ? After analyse the traffic, I found that most of the visitors came in from Sabahan.com. Refer to my previous post about 10 tips to increase blog traffic, I have left out one important point in increase traffic technique. It is give your valuable comments in successful bloggers post frequently! This definitely will make your name more popular and people start to know you.

So, I believe the highest traffic on 12 Sep 2007 was came in from my valueble comments in Sabahan.com.

My two cents

As a conclusion, I have emphasis my work on web theme design and keep new post daily as my habit for the past 2 weeks. This really help increase my blog traffic gradually and steadily.

For my next plan, I am going to emphasis more on SEO optimization in next two weeks. Hopefully it worth the results !  What is your SEO results ? Share with us in comment
