What is happening on AhTim.com ?

Time flies, it is already 4 months of blogging life in this blogsphere. If you followed my blog post, it was 2 months ago since my last SEO report on November 2007. Why I never update my SEO report on last month? This is because I am too busy with upgrade my wordpress theme and wordpress version.

Also there are too many holidays on last month, including my Shanghai vacation trip that took me about 1 week off. Not only that, since I won an iPod Touch on last month, I have spend more time on this new gadget - iPod Touch 16GB rather than blogging.

After all, now I am waking up myself and start to blog again here So how is my SEO result after 2 months efforts ?

My Monthly SEO report

1. Alexa

If you still remember, my alexa ranking on November SEO report was 342,972 and now cllimbed up to 224,090. It was 34.66% improvement on Alexa ranking this month Although this is not a very huge jump compare to previous months report, I’m still quite satisfied with the progress. I found that when our ranking get higher, the harder we could move in.

According to my previous target, I want to achieve at least 200,000 in Alexa ranking. But seems like still a gap in between my target and achievement. I will try harder to achive the target in my next SEO report! Hopefully by carry out a 20 days post challenge could help me on this, its time to do preparation.

2. Google Webmaster

This is my latest top search queries result that extracted from Google Webmaster. 8 Out of these top 10 results are related to iPod touch. 1 keyword related to linux and 1 keyword related to yahoo. I noticed that since I post iPod Touch articles, there are not much people comment on my blog, maybe this gadget still not famous in Malaysia? Anyway, iPod Touch articles did bring me more raw traffics from search engine!

3. SlimStat

Refer to the slimstat result above, I still have nearly 200 visitors everyday which is my previous target. As an average, I have more than 200 visitors daily if I update my blog frequently. It is a good improvement since my previous SEO report is about 100 visitors daily.

4. Technorati

Yeah! I have entered into the top 100,000 blog in Technorati. This is the most high improvement since last SEO report. My technorati rank was jump from 126,758 to 70,031 with 96 authority. This means my blog has more reaction from others!

5. Feedburner

As you can see from the screenshot below, my highest feeds is 61 RSS readers, and the average for the last 30 days is 41 RSS readers. There is a bit slow on December 2007 due to lack of post update. For overall, I can see my rss readers is increasing and hopefully can hit 80 rss readers on next SEO report!

My two cents

As a conclusion from my SEO report this month, not update my blog daily was my biggest mistake! But since I upgrade to my customized wordpress theme and posted valuable articles, I got more rss readers. My biggest achievement on this SEO report is my PR has increase from PR2 to PR3!
