After: Vacation to Genting Highlands @ July 2008

A lot of stuffs to do after come back to work. How good it will be if I could sleep till wake up naturally? 
Haha, its a dream for me. It was so fun having 2 days vacation at Genting Highland. Good weather, nice hotel room, fun outdoor theme park game and delicious buffet meals!
As I said, I’ll find out why most of the hotel room fully booked? It was due to a lot of middle east visitors. I think it is about 80% visitors from middle east! Wow, its really a lot huh? Maybe come here for summer holiday? I’m not sure.
What so Fun?
We reached at Theme Park Hotel around 11.30 morning. After registered hotel room, we queue up to buy outdoor theme park ticket. It was a long long queue. I think only my wife and me are Chinese during that time, mostly are middle east visitors. Not only that, its start raining when I having lunch at Old Town Coffee.
Outdoor Theme Park
Fortunately, rain stop after our delicious lunch. Although there are lots of foreign visitors, we still have very fun time. We ride almost all available nice game such as cork screw, mines train, cyclone and tobagon. We took 2 rides for some game because most foreign visitors have children, can’t ride. I feel relax after shouting on ride.
Buffet Meals
There is 2 buffet meals included in the Free and Easy package. We have chosen breakfast and dinner. Coincidence we were there during the last day of fruits festival. A lots of local fruits available including Durian. Durian is not my favourite, but I can’t resist to east a few. It was delicious.
Since we are not rush for any show, we just take it easy and relax to enjoy all foods slowly.
Pavilion Shopping
Other than the funs above, we also visited Pavilion during our way back. Pavilion is so huge, we don’t know where to start! I have visited epi center (Apple Store). But no good deal. A simple rubber casing for my iPod touch cost $89 bucks! Too expensive.
Anyway, I have feel the MacBook air. It is really impressive and thin. But the price will scares you. $10k plus for a higher specs configuration.
My two cents
I have 2 regrets on this trip. First is unable to enjoy coffee at StarBucks after the rich dinner. Second is didn’t watch the Dreamz show. I think it should be a very nice show with rare White Lion, White Tiger and two giant yet cute dogs! The ticket is very expensive, $80 bucks per pax! Maybe next time

Sound like a nice trip. Wondering when I will have the time for holiday. I think I will only free after I graduate. LOL..
