Finally arrived my home sweet home on yesterday night safely. It was a tired trip, really pack schedule. We have visited most of the planned place of interest. Except for the theme restaurants, ninja and star hill restaurant.

We all thought KL should be empty, but we were wrong. KL was clouded during our visit. Anyway, it was fun especially the Lost City of Gold ride! The interesting point is it go high up and down continuously 3 times. Shout till loss your voice. It is totally different from my last visit. More than 10 years I never enter.

High Tech during KL Trip

There are few high tech in use during our visit. First of all of course is my N82 GPS (Global Positioning System). Without GPS, I don’t think our trip can go so smoothly. GPS initiate time depends on cloud and Telco line. If Telco line is strong, it can be search accurate position faster. If there is cloud, harder to define current location.

Don’t mention about clouded Wifi connections within Sunway Pyramid. It is really common for free Wifi Internet access, but Sunway P1 Wifi charge for RM5 a day. More high tech implementations that I observed.

• Car Park system - I should have suggest to Sunway earlier. They have implemented good car park system in Sunway Pyramid huge parking bay. Each parking lot has a car sensor on top and a light in front. Once car parked in the lot, the light will turn from green to red. The sensor then send the info to the LED board at entrance and some turn points. The LED board tell you how many available parking in that area. It helps us found parking lot more easier.
• Light and Laser show - As expected, nothing special in The Mines of Wonderland. The water light and music is nice. This is my first time to watch laser show. The graphic was poor, and no story line. I heard laser light show in Sentosa Singapore is 10 times nicer. Anyway, its a new experience for me too.
• RFID Watch ticketing device - Ticket to enter Sunway theme park is no more using strap. They now implemented RFID watch. What a good idea. Since there are 4 theme parks, the RFID watch in different colors decide which park you can enter. Wear the RFID watch on your hand and touch the entrace gate to let you enter.

My two cents

Sunway Theme Park is a good place for visit. I don’t like the “Strictly One Entry” Only, no re-enter to the theme park once go out. It force visitors to eat and drink expensive food inside the park. One set of burger (normal Ramly burger) + fries + soft drinks = RM14++!

One day is not enough to visit all parks. So don’t waste your money to buy all parks although it is 50% cheaper than buy individual park ticket. You won’t have enough time for all.
