5 Common Blogging Mistakes

Don’t get me wrong, I does not mean to say you are wrong. Just share with you the common blogging mistakes that many blogger did. By practicing these mistakes long term, you might destroy your blog or collapse your readers group.
At least for me, I do not like to read blogs that do the mistakes all the time. What do you think?
5 Common Blogging Mistakes
1. Too Much Ads - The first and most common mistake is too much ads. Some beginner blogger thought they can earn a lot of money by put in ads around the page. This is not a good idea. It not only won’t help to earn money, also lost potential reader. I myself don’t like site that clouded with ads, even though the content is good.
2. Write what people write - This is another common mistake when some hot news happen. I do not mean we can’t write the same topic, but should write in own opinion. Don’t ever write what people write. Especially, do not steal blog leader’s content in your niche. Just like this scam site, I don’t think any royal reader except himself. 
3. Lack of Update - I subscribed to more than 100 feeds in Google reader. I noticed some blogs did not update frequently. When reader browse these blogs, I am sure they will just hop and jump to others. This blogging habit will not gain much royal readers unless they have build up the reader network already for some time.
4. Slow Loading - Will you wait more than 1 minute for a blog to load? I don’t think so. So you better check your blog’s loading time, especially on main landing page. I measure by using FasterFox Page Load Timer. My main landing page is at 7.63s. How about yours?
5. Lack of Interaction - Some blog only share their own thinking without interaction with readers. It might be good for a life blog, but reader might get bored. Article that do not ask reader’s opinion won’t get lively feeling. Did you make the same mistake?
My two cents
Nobody want to do mistake purposely. But we might just get use to it over time. So must be careful, do not repeat the mistakes again and again or you might kill your blog yourself!

Yes, ah Tim, I agree with the above common 5 mistakes. I hope my blog is free from those 5 mistakes, but sometimes I can’t control the loading speed (I had removed a lot of widgets compared to last time), sometimes my host is slow.

I think I did some of the mistake.
Too many Ads: I dont know how to modify the template.
Lack of update:Lack of time to update.
The rest..I think still ok.. Any comment to me??

another 1 u forgot to mention is putting BACKGROUND MUSIC like ur minipod lul, automatic play wtF ??made me almost get heart attack

While I agree all your points, I believe that you may have left another point - to stop playing unnecessary music at a blog. No hard feeling, but I found your minipod is a turn off.
