3G Broadband Internet Access

How do I survive as a Blogger for the whole week in Kuala Terengganu? Use dial up? too slow. Cyber Cafe? too tedious. Free wifi in KFC? Not everyday ok.
I blog and access Internet comfortably at home using 3G broadband. This is my first experience to enjoy the real freedom of 3G broadband. It is so easy to use, convenient and fast surfing speed. Although the broadband speed is only 384kbps, its more than enough for blogging.
How to use 3G Broadband ?
I didn’t subscribe 3G broadband myself. I borrowed from my sister in law. She subscribe to Celcom 3G broadband after bought Dell Inspiron 530 Desktop. The basic plan (RM68 monthly) by Celcom come with a USB cable and Huawei E220 HSDPA modem. It support up to 7.2Mbps but I don’t think it available in this area.
No installation CD included. You just need to plug in the 3G modem into your computer. It should prompt out for Celcom Broadband Dialer installation. Follow the instructions to complete install.

After complete, open Celcom Broadband. Once 3G modem detected, click on Connect and enjoy Internet access wirelessly via 3G broadband! Enjoy the real freedom of wireless broadband.
My two cents
Do I need a 3G broadband for myself? No, at the moment. I already got a streamyx broadband at home. All will return to normal after I go back home tomorrow.
I’m blogging via Celcom 3G broadband.
