What is WCIT ?

WCIT or World Congress on Information Technology often known as “Olympics of ICT”, is an event that held once every two years. WCIT is the largest-ever gathering of global leaders and decision makers on information and communications technology.

Next year, is coming to the 16th World Congress on Information Technology (WCIT) 2008 and claim to be a landmark ICT event that is held for the first time in Southeast Asia.

When and Where?

We are happy to know that the 16th World Congress on Information Technology (WCIT) 2008 will be held at KLCC (Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre) Kuala Lumpur from May 19-21, 2008 (3 days continuous event). The event is expected to draw over 2,500 participants from more than 80 countries worldwide.

The Battle has just been started !

Microsoft just launch their latest Windows Live software that come with softwares for desktop, All-in-One security and performance tuning tools that seems like start the battle with few days ago. Although I am not sure the main purpose of Microsoft launched this new stuff, but we can compare and see they are same in many aspect!

Google launched Gphone development ?

Lots of people in the internet are discussiong about when Google going to release their so call "Gphone" ? Some Gphone fans even started to design the new look for Gphone. Somewhere last week, Google has officially annouced their first mobile phone platform named Android.

I believe with the release of this Gphone on second half year 2008, Google will lead the advertising market to the next higher milestone in their success. Why ? Definitely because Android is a fully integrated mobile “software stack” that consists of an operating system, middleware, user-friendly interface and applications. And yet, it is Open Source !

Last week, the Android developer had presented and posted a demo on the Android platform to Youtube. Look at their cool demo

As you can see from the video clip, it is almost same features with iPhone except the multitouch screen. Is GPhone going to beat down iPhone? Let’s wait and see….
