What? Free International Call from Mobile Phone?

Yes, it is possible now with Jaxtr! While our Telco charge you expensive international call, Jaxtr lets you talk for free on your Mobile phone, not computer! (Yeah! I like free things)

Most of the International call provided on internet is using VOIP, for example Skype. The disadvantage is you need to online with a computer. With Jaxtr, it allow you to make your International call by using your mobile phone, this mean you can make International call anywhere by using Jaxtr service.

How Jaxtr provide Free International call ?

Jaxtr using GSM network instead of VOIP, that is the reason why we can make use the service using our own mobile phone. Although Jaxtr claim it as "Free" service, you still need to pay for small amount of local call rate. So from this point, the "Free" service is start from Jaxtr network to your recipients network, but not your GSM network to Jaxtr network! No matter how, it is worth the small fees

How to use Jaxtr ? 

Register at Jaxtr, then verify your mobile phone after login to your Jaxtr account. When you click on "verify by phone", Jaxtr system will make a phone call to you and you need to key in "pass code" that Jaxtr provide you. After your phone has been activated, you will get 100 jax point (about 25 talking time) per month. If you want more, you need to purchase but they never mention the price on their website, you will need to contact them. You can put your Jaxtr widget on your blog to allow oversea friends call you without expensive international call fees.

When you use Jaxtr interface to make phone calls, the system will call you and your friends then link up both of you together. Interesting isn't it? Worry your phone number will get spam? Don't worry, Jaxtr would not reveal your mobile number and you can set filter only accept calls from person you know.

My two cents 

I have tried to register an account for myself and my wife to try out the service. It's quite easy and fast to register. I tried to make a phone call to my wife through Jaxtr interface, it prompt out with a special phone number 121437xxxxx. This means if I want to call my wife using Jaxtr service, I just need to call the number 121437xxxxx, it will direct me to my wife mobile phone. It's very safe and very free!
